AUTJ149 Regional Court of the Littoral and the Val-de-Travers Secretary 95% to 100% at the Regional Court of the Littoral and the Val-de-Travers AUTJ149 Regional Court of the Littoral and the Val-de-Travers (TRLV) - Child and Adult Protection Authority (APEA) The District Court is the cantonal judiciary authority of first instance responsible for delivering civil and criminal justice. It does so independently, diligently, and the District Court is distributed across three sites and consists of the following sections: civil court chamber, child and adult protection authority (APEA), juvenile criminal court, police court, criminal court, and measures court. The Regional Court of the Littoral and the Val-de-Travers is recruiting a secretary position between 95% and 100%, primarily focused on APEA. As a secretary mainly at the APEA of the Regional Court of the Littoral and the Val-de-Travers, you participate in the management of APEA, which is notably competent for adults to pronounce protective measures, designate persons in charge of these measures, and decide on placements for assistance purposes (articles and following of the Civil Code). Regarding minors, it takes protective measures dictated by circumstances, such as the withdrawal of custody or parental authority, placement, or other measures. In the scope of your function, you are in charge of the compilation and processing of judicial files. This includes drafting both correspondence and decisions, scheduling hearings, and assisting with them, particularly by taking minutes (by dictation or on the fly). You also take on the follow-up of biennial reports filed by assessors as well as monitoring agendas and deadlines at your level. You are also responsible for sending, enforcing, and archiving decisions rendered while representing the first point of contact to welcome and inform the parties involved or other services, be it at the counter or by phone. Profile Holder of a Federal Certificate of Proficiency as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification, you have prior relevant experience for the position, ideally in the judicial environment or in a study. Due to your loyalty and discretion, you strongly adhere to the values of public service and possess a sense of responsibility. An excellent command of French, typing skills, and proficiency in Office Suite are prerequisites for this position. Independent, with a sharp sense of organization, you are proactive and know how to make decisions while respecting the competencies involved. You enjoy processing complex files requiring attention to detail. Additionally, you stand out for your extreme adaptability and your ability to integrate quickly into a team. Stress-resistant, you manage to handle a large volume of tasks and respond to multiple inquiries while respecting both the degrees of urgency and deadlines.
