Your responsibilities

Within the operating theatre, you take charge of the preparation, management and transmission of surgical equipment, ensuring sterility, traceability and safety at every stage of the intervention. You perform the role of scrub nurse in various surgical specialties (gynaecology/obstetrics, urology, cardiovascular surgery, visceral surgery, robotic surgery, bariatric surgery, neurosurgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery or thoracic surgery), adapting to the specific requirements of each intervention and each surgeon. You ensure the proper organisation and availability of sterile medical devices in the operating room, in strict compliance with the asepsis, hygiene and safety protocols in force. You work closely with the entire operating team and actively contribute to the smooth patient pathway in the theatre.

Your profile

Holder of a TSO training, or a nursing diploma with a specialisation in operating theatre, or a title deemed equivalent in Switzerland (IDDO / IBODE, recognition by the Swiss Red Cross in case of foreign diploma), you are an expert in complex surgery and have proven experience in the operating room, ideally in a multi-specialty context. You master surgical instrumentation, the management of sterile medical devices and the preparation of operating room equipment, with an excellent knowledge of asepsis, hygiene and safety protocols. Rigorous, reliable and with good stress resistance, you know how to operate with precision and calm in the most demanding situations. Your team spirit, sense of responsibility and focus on quality & patient safety make you a trusted collaborator. Mastery of French is essential.
