The Nyon-Dôle Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS)Permanent Firefighter, Technical and Logistics Manager at 100%The Nyon-Dôle Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS Nyon-Dôle) brings together 18 municipalities spread across the sites of Nyon, St-Cergue, Genolier, and Bonmont. Together, more than 230 men and women provide 24/7 intervention and rescue missions for the population across a vast sector extending from Nyon to La Dôle. Fires, rescue of people and animals, hydrocarbon and chemical pollution are part of the daily life of these volunteer firefighters, supervised by a team of 7 permanent staff. To complete the team following the retirement of the incumbent, the SDIS Nyon-Dôle is looking for a:Permanent Firefighter, Technical and Logistics Manager at 100%Your main missions:- Guarantee and supervise the technical maintenance of the SDIS and its intervention capacity.- Direct the maintenance teams for the buildings, vehicles, and equipment of the SDIS.- Participate in various technical tasks.- Supervise technical management by guaranteeing the exact and regular keeping of inventories and ensuring the maintenance of equipment and vehicles.- Propose and monitor the maintenance/acquisition budget for the SDIS.- Coordinate and provide training for drivers.- Participate in the administration of the SDIS.- Intervene as a first responder during the day according to criteria devolved to permanent firefighters (from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.).- Participate in training necessary for the position and weekend duties outside of working hours as a firefighter.Your profile:- You are a member of a First Aid Detachment (DPS), with at least 3 years of experience or you hold the rank of non-commissioned officer.- You hold a technical Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or equivalent recognized qualification.- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the technical field.- You have worked in a regional center (DPS G) or equivalent (road rescue, DCH chemical missions).- You have a very good command of computer tools (Office Suite).- You have experience in management or are ready to train in it.- You live in one of the seven municipalities of the CRDIS Nyon site or surroundings (ease of access) or are willing to move there, at the latest by the end of the trial period.- You hold a category B driving license and are able to work independently and in a team.Start date: December 1st or by agreementApplication deadline: May 17thThe municipal administration and the SDIS Nyon-Dôle wish to recognize your skills, discover your qualities, and share opportunities with you.
