Senior SAP Techno-Functional Consultant - Archiving / JiVS Start Date: ASAPLocation: Le Plessis-Robinson, FranceWorking Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remoteContract Type: 6+ months B2B contract (+extensions)Requirement: CPR mandatory Project Overview We are looking for a Senior SAP Techno-Functional Consultant with strong cross-functional SAP knowledge and experience in data archiving to support an ongoing S/4HANA transformation programme. The project uses the JiVS archiving platform to retain and access historical data that is not migrated into S/4HANA. Hybrid reporting solutions have been developed to allow users to access information across both S/4HANA and JiVS. The successful consultant will act as a key link between business stakeholders, SAP teams and the archiving team, helping business users understand the archiving strategy, challenge requirements and adopt the appropriate approach to accessing historical data. Experience with JiVS is highly desirable, although strong SAP archiving knowledge and the ability to influence business stakeholders are equally important. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse and challenge requirements from different business domains relating to historical data access, reporting and consultation. Explain the JiVS archiving solution and the programme's approach to data retention and archiving. Guide business teams towards SAP best practices, challenging unnecessary requests to migrate historical data into S/4HANA. Support users in understanding and adopting new processes for accessing non-migrated historical data. Understand the principles behind hybrid reports combining S/4HANA and JiVS data. Act as the interface between business stakeholders, SAP teams, the JiVS technical lead and the data migration team. Support operational continuity and business users following S/4HANA Go-Live. Drive change adoption and ensure business requirements are addressed in line with the programme's archiving strategy. Key Requirements Senior-level experience as an SAP techno-functional consultant, with strong cross-functional knowledge of the SAP ecosystem. Solid understanding of SAP data archiving principles and historical data management. Experience with JiVS is highly desirable. Sufficient technical understanding to discuss reporting solutions integrating S/4HANA and archived data. Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Ability to translate business needs into practical SAP and archiving solutions. Experience supporting business teams through transformation, process changes or S/4HANA implementation programmes.
