It is a unique and original concept combining both a presentation of living animals and an immersive and interactive scenography, based on innovative digital technologies. AQUATIS is both a leisure space, an environmental education centre, and a platform for exchange between the general public and scientists (www.aquatis.ch).To complete its teams, "AQUATIS" Aquarium-Vivarium in Lausanne is looking for a:

SANITARY/HEATING SPECIALIST AND MULTI-SKILLED HVAC MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – 100% PERMANENT CONTRACT

Your profile:

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a Sanitary Installer or Heating Installer
• 10 years of extensive and proven experience (sanitary, heating, HVAC and electricity)
• Compliance with safety regulations
• Highly versatile and technically experienced
• French read, spoken and written; German is a plus
• Very organised, precise, reliable, motivated, committed, proactive and flexible person
• Good interpersonal skills, able to work both in a team and independently
• Interest in species conservation and their welfare

Your tasks:

• Ensure monitoring and maintenance of the machine room, aquarium/vivarium technology and carry out new installations
• Perform preventive, corrective and curative maintenance of equipment
• Diagnose faults, dismantle and reassemble water circuit installations and sanitary elements
• Carry out connection work to pumps, aquariums and sanitary elements
• Troubleshoot and maintain sanitary installations, clean filters, thermostatic valves, pumps and regulate various installations
• Assist with technical interventions in the building
• Keep operational files and intervention reports up to date
• Manage planning and anticipated budgets over several years
• Comply with safety rules
• Participate in a weekend rota service
