On behalf of one of our partners, we are looking for a business development specialist in the field of industrial refrigeration.
Sales Engineer
Mission
Your role is to develop sales of equipment, installations and services in French-speaking Switzerland, with occasional coverage of the rest of the country.
You will work with clients from various sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Develop sales of equipment, installations and services in industrial refrigeration throughout French-speaking Switzerland and nationally, targeting various sectors: chemistry, petrochemicals, food processing, industrial processes, ice rinks and specific applications.
- Strengthen commercial presence by collaborating with local agencies, design offices and partners, while building proactive relationships with prospects.
- Prepare technical and commercial offers in coordination with the project department, ensuring technical relevance, competitive pricing and adherence to deadlines.
- Ensure order intake with optimal margins, balancing risks/opportunities and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor the technical and financial execution of contracts in support of project managers, and validate contractual terms with commercial management, finance and legal departments.
- Communicate clients’ QSSE requirements (quality, safety, environment) to execution teams and ensure compliance with the group’s internal policies.
Profile sought
- Higher education in climate engineering, thermal engineering or industrial engineering.
- 10 years’ experience in selling industrial refrigeration solutions or energy installations.
- Proven experience in portfolio development and ability to create a client base from scratch.
- Very good knowledge of the Swiss market.
- Strong understanding of technical issues related to industrial installations.
Languages
- Fluent French.
- Professional English required, level B2-C1.
- German is an asset but not essential for the region.

Work organisation: 2 days in the office, 3 days travelling within the area (to be organised independently).
