Your Responsibilities


To support our commercial growth and strategic market expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales & Business Development Manager (m/f/d).

In this role, you proactively identify new business opportunities in the peptide and amino-acid derivatives market, strengthen our commercial pipeline, and drive customer acquisition with a strong "hunting" mindset. You will work closely with our technical and operational teams to assess project feasibility, support proposal development, and close commercial agreements that create long-term value.

  • Deliver against agreed commercial and growthtargets
  • Identify, target, and acquire new customers(including cold outreach and event-based lead generation)
  • Build and maintain strong long-term clientrelationships
  • Prepare commercial proposalsand quotations
  • Negotiate and close customercontracts
  • Evaluate new project requests in collaborationwith technical teams
  • Develop and execute market-developmentstrategies
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, andcompetitive landscape
  • Represent Senn Chemicals at conferences,exhibitions, and industry events (travel up to ~50%)

Your Profile
  • MSc in Chemistry, Life Sciences
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience inBusiness Development, Sales, or Technical-Commercial roles
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical / peptide /CDMO environment preferred
  • Existing network in the pharmaceutical andbiotech sector is a strong plus
  • Excellent negotiation and project-managementskills
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive andentrepreneurial mindset
  • Analytical andproblem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication andpresentation skills
  • Fluent in English; German is an advantage
  • Willingness to travelapproximately 50%
