OBI is much more than just a DIY store. With over 640 centres across ten European countries, we are the partner for everyone who handles the drill, hammer and brush in their home. Your apprenticeship is our shared project. We develop your skills to the next level so that you can fully engage with the team and not only advise our customers but also inspire them.

In sales: you are the face of OBI. You inspire others and show them how to concretely realise the home of their dreams.

In logistics: you are the central pivot. You ensure that the shelves are stocked and that the right materials are exactly where they are needed.

Your tasks

• During your apprenticeship, you will discover different sales departments, such as building materials, electrical equipment, sanitary or gardening. You then have the opportunity to specialise in the area you prefer.
• You acquire the necessary knowledge about our extensive DIY range and are thus able to provide valuable advice to our customers.
• You have the opportunity to work in different organisational areas, such as the checkout and the Service Center.
• You contribute to making our sales areas even more welcoming and to offering our customers a pleasant shopping experience.
• You are a full member of the team from your first day and gradually take on more and more responsibilities.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed your 9th year of schooling.
• You are passionate about the world of construction and DIY.
• You enjoy days filled with a variety of tasks.
• You take pleasure in advising our customers to help them realise their projects.
• You are responsible, possess organisational skills and feel comfortable with numbers.
• You are naturally communicative and do not hesitate to approach others.
