We are looking for our sector:A HOUSE MANAGER AT 100%We are looking for a dynamic and experienced House Manager to join our team and contribute to the management of the sector. You will be the guarantor of the satisfaction of our clients and the proper management of the dining room. This position is an exceptional opportunity to join an institution in full expansion and to play a key role in the gastronomic renewal of our establishment.Main missions:Management of the dining room and events:- Ensure the monitoring of the setup and optimal operation of the dining room before each service;- Set up and monitor the various events organized within Val Fleuri;- Imagine and implement new service offers and organize operating procedures;- Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of the restaurant and its equipment.Team supervision:- Supervise, train, and motivate the team of servers to guarantee high-quality service;- Organize and lead team meetings (briefings and debriefings), supervise, involve, and motivate staff to ensure good internal communication;- Be able to replace any member of the team regardless of the reason.Customer service:- Ensure the satisfaction of residents, their families, and guests coming to dine, respond to their needs, and resolve potential problems with professionalism and empathy;- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to ensure fluid communication between the dining room and the kitchen;- Collaborate closely with the care, hospitality, and administration sectors;- Supervise and manage service stocks and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards;- Plan teams with the best possible efficiency;- Produce forecasts for human resources and management and compare the difference between needs and reality on the ground;- Manage the cash register and money movements as well as control and ensure the operation of the payment system.Commercial development:- Actively participate in the implementation of strategies to attract and retain customers;- Present a menu and study the profitability of menus with the Head Chef;- Accompany management in the reflection of concepts, offers, and propose improvements.Profile sought:Experience:- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dining Room Manager in a restaurant with table service.Leadership:- Excellent management and communication skills with a proven ability to motivate and lead a team;- Decisiveness and team spirit.Customer focus:- Keen sense of customer service, with an ability to anticipate and meet customer needs proactively;- Experience in a medico-social establishment is an undeniable asset;- Knowledge of companies in the Geneva area is an asset;- Great rigor and sense of organization with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;- Excellent knowledge in the organization of conferences and banquets (event management up to 300 people);- Schedule management, knowledge of PEP software is an asset;- This standard job involves prolonged standing and numerous handling tasks;- Required to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.Languages:- Mastery of French and English.
