With nearly 1,000 employees, the Department of Psychiatry has the mission to detect and treat increasingly frequent and diverse pathologies while respecting patients and their relatives. The department, using cognitive and affective neurosciences, also carries out academic and clinical research at a high level of quality.
Quality teaching is also provided by the department to students as well as to doctors in training for specialist certification, raising awareness of psychological, biological, and social dimensions. The department also supports quality training in psychotherapy.
As deputy human resources manager, you assist the HR manager in their activities by ensuring the operational management of human resources for the Department of Psychiatry. You are responsible for ensuring the proper application of HR processes in operational files, respecting the HR policy, the institution, and the applicable rules.
In a support and advisory role, you assist line managers regarding the management of their teams and the evolution of skills needs. You advise the employees of the delegated target group throughout their professional journey. You intervene at various stages of the personnel life cycle (recruitment, mobility, departure). You support the HR manager in complex and contentious situations.
You enjoy working in a network and are comfortable interacting with various internal partners within the department. You are a person with a strong team spirit, collaborating with different HR support services (administrative management, remuneration, recruitment, mobility, training) to ensure harmonisation and efficiency in managing cross-functional HR processes. You demonstrate rigour and organisational skills in your daily administrative management.
Under the supervision of your manager, and alongside a team composed of 2 deputy HR managers and 4 HR administrators, you initiate innovative and adapted HR approaches with the main objective of developing the human capital of your department.
You represent the human resources function of the department in permanent committees, working groups, cross-project teams, and ensure the replacement of the HR manager when necessary. As part of implementing the HUG HR strategy, you collaborate notably with the project teams of axis 1: "caring for employees within an institution close to its values".
You support your manager in developing a harmonious and respectful working climate.
Customer and solution-oriented, you also identify with the values of HUG which you embody in your role.
Qualifications
You have completed a university degree supplemented by mandatory training in human resources management (e.g. Certificate, CAS, DAS, MAS) or hold a master’s degree in HR.
You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar HR role where you have worked autonomously.
Training or experience in project management will facilitate your integration. Knowledge of the hospital and/or public sector is also an asset.
You have very good command of common and collaborative IT tools and are highly proficient in oral and written communication.
Organised and rigorous, you are able to work independently and demonstrate versatility and adaptability. You know how to manage priorities and take necessary initiatives.
With strong analytical and synthesis skills, you are comfortable with numbers.
Thanks to your pragmatism and quick wit, you propose solutions adapted to needs while respecting the applicable framework and the confidentiality inherent to the HR function.
Flexible and possessing good interpersonal skills, you know how to develop harmonious relationships with your contacts by showing tact.
