Infrastructure, Building and Greenhouse ManagerJob descriptionAs the Infrastructure, Building and Greenhouse Manager at the Botanical Garden, your mission is to ensure the performance, safety, and technical continuity of the entire site. As a multi-technical point of contact, you will manage both our greenhouses and the maintenance of our buildings. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the institution to provide our teams with a daily working environment.Responsibilities- Assume technical responsibility and management of greenhouses and crops.- Assume technical responsibility for the maintenance of buildings and infrastructure.- Supervise the maintenance of specialized technical equipment.- Ensure the routine technical management of infrastructure.- Assume responsibility for the site.For further information, please consult the job description by clicking here.Requirements- Useful for the position (heating engineer, etc.) or deemed equivalent.- Degree in building technology or deemed equivalent.- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing greenhouses or in the technical management of buildings.- B2 level in German desired.- Knowledge of horticulture, botany, and plant ecology (particularly tropical, temperate, Mediterranean, and succulent plants).- Proficiency with office tools and software.- Organizational skills and time management, writing skills, and a global vision and sense of priorities.Who are we?Serving cultural actors, the population, and the territory, the Directorate General of Culture (DGC), composed of nearly 450 employees, develops and implements the cantonal public policy in cultural matters.
