Why not come join us?To strengthen our Energypolis campus, the Institute of Energy and Environment of the HES-SO Valais-Wallis is seeking to fill the position of:Research Associate or Scientist (80%-100%)Position in the design and delivery of applied research and development (R&D) projects and services, drawing on your scientific expertise.- Develop and participate in the acquisition of research projects.- Manage and oversee public and private R&D projects.- Participate in the supervision of student projects.- Contribute to projects involving environmental life cycle modelling and assessment, flow analysis, techno-economic analysis, circular economy, eco-design, data management and analysis, and the development of metrics and environmental assessment tools.- Write and present technical deliverables for public and private clients/partners.- Contribute to the academic life of the institute and the Energypolis Campus.Selection criteria- Master's degree in Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science or a related field; a doctoral degree is an advantage.- Experience in scientific research or equivalent, including the development, management and writing of research projects; experience with European projects is an asset.- Proven expertise in life cycle analysis, eco-design and data management; experience in emerging renewable energy technologies is an asset.- Strong organizational skills and a high degree of autonomy, with the ability to manage technical and interdisciplinary projects requiring sustainability metrics from a life cycle perspective.- Excellent knowledge of English; good knowledge of French is an advantage.Employment: 80%-100%Place of work: SionStart date: As soon as possiblePlease submit your complete application documents (CV, cover letter, diplomas and work certificates) by 6 May by clicking on the Apply button.
