Photovoltaic / Hydroelectric Maintenance Technician (100%)

Field of activity

You will hold a key position within our Production Service, with the unique opportunity to participate in Viteos' energy transition.

Your role requires monitoring and maintaining PV plants.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it

  • Monitor and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work on all our photovoltaic plants to ensure reliable and consistent production.
  • Occasionally perform preventive and corrective maintenance work on our hydroelectric plants.
  • Occasionally participate in activities related to catchments, conduits, treatment and pumping of drinking water in the Areuse gorges.
  • Occasionally (mainly during holiday periods), carry out sampling related to the laboratory's drinking water campaigns.
  • Occasionally participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of our Biogas plant.
  • Occasionally participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance of our Freecooling plant.
  • Provide an on-call service for all our technical installations (average of 8 weeks per year)

To electrify us, you must:

  • Hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician installer or automation technician or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possession of article 13 and/or 15 under the OIBT is a real advantage.
  • Have experience in a similar field, including proven experience in corrective maintenance of technical installations. Preference will be given to the photovoltaic field.
  • Have good analytical skills allowing autonomous troubleshooting.
  • Be comfortable reading electrical diagrams and plans in general.
  • Be comfortable with computer tools.
  • Have good physical condition and enjoy working outdoors. There is regular work on secured roofs and in natural environments.
  • Driving licence essential
