Integrated into the heart of a recognized large institution, the hospital of the Institution of Lavigny is one of the reference centers in French-speaking Switzerland for brain injuries requiring neurological rehabilitation, or suffering from difficult-to-treat epilepsy. Since July 1st, the University Service of Neurology (SUN) is a structure connecting two institutions, the CHUV and the Hospital of Lavigny. With 75 beds and nearly 200 employees, the SUN provides highly specialized and interdisciplinary care in an academic setting, for more than 500 hospitalized patients and nearly 3,000 consultations per year.
