IMAD is a pioneering and reference institution for home care in the canton of Geneva. It provides care, support, prevention, and health promotion services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to people of all ages, 25% of whom are under 65.Nurse (Temporary Respite Care Units) / 80% / Permanent ContractTo allow caregivers a time of respite, the units offer short-term stays to clients of retirement age and ensure care in continuity with that provided at home. The care and support of clients are adapted to their physical and mental health status. The nurse works in an interdisciplinary manner at the Mervelet site (Petit-Saconnex), respecting the mission and objectives of the institution, and may also be required to intervene occasionally at the Villereuse site. As the units are a service open 24 hours a day throughout the year, working hours are in shifts.Missions and responsibilities- Provide personalized, comprehensive nursing care, preventive education, and support to clients of retirement age, autonomously and/or upon medical prescription.- Exercise a role as a daily care reference person in order to adjust client care according to their needs and by acting in accordance with the principles of the professional nursing code of ethics.- Organize medico-social procedures, coordination, and collaboration with all stakeholders involved in a client's care plan by mobilizing all available resources (both from the primary and professional network).- Work in close collaboration with nursing assistants and healthcare aides by delegating care within their scope of practice.- Ensure written and oral transmission of information regarding accompanied clients to allow for monitoring and continuity in client care.- Participate in development and research activities within the framework of the objectives defined by the management.Profile- Degree in nursing or equivalent, recognized in the canton.- Minimum experience in the Geneva healthcare network.- Experience in geriatrics desired.- Ability to work autonomously as well as in an interdisciplinary team.- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage responsibilities and additional tasks.Start date: To be agreedApplication deadline: Please attach to your file:- A curriculum vitae- A cover letter- A copy of your diplomas and work certificates. jid47a3174aen jit0624aen jpiy26aen
