It offers a flexible work environment that promotes balance between professional and private life and conditions encouraging the development of skills as well as the sharing of knowledge and experience.Job DescriptionIn collaboration with the Oncology Department of the HUG and with a view to improving the care and home support of people with cancer, IMAD is creating a pilot project to develop a home care system, specialized in adult oncology, based on a joint IMAD-HUG clinical pathway with a view to improving the continuity of care and home care for people with cancer, currently undergoing treatment at the HUG. The established team will carry out a very broad and complex activity, exercising both in the clinical, social, psychic, and environmental dimensions of the client. The EISO team will also have the mission of forging close links with the specific Geneva oncology network (for example: the Oncology Department of the HUG, the Cancer League, OTIUM).Your missions and responsibilities- Respond effectively to the specific care needs of the EISO team by autonomously providing medically prescribed technically complex nursing care at the homes of adult clients with an oncological condition, usually provided in a hospital setting.- Provide comprehensive personalized care to adult clients with an oncological condition, fitting into a global vision taking into account in particular their direct and social environment, and their psychological constraints. Assess any needs such as dietetics or occupational therapy.- Exercise a role of reference person and act in accordance with the principles of the nursing code of ethics.- Participate in the institutional mission aimed at promoting home care in a stimulating environment for our clients by developing interprofessional collaborations and with the various teams integrated into the project.- Develop links and interactions with actors in the specific Geneva oncology network (for example: the Oncology Department of the HUG, the Cancer League).Profile- Degree in nursing.- CAS in oncology with proven interest in the field.- Minimum experience in home care.- Dexterity in technical care.- Capacity for flexibility and responsiveness.- Great ease in communication, ability to manage stress, and sense of responsibility.- Knowledge of the Geneva network specific to oncology would be an asset.- Ability to work autonomously as well as in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional team.- Mobility essential (bicycle / car).What we offerAt IMAD, we believe that you are our greatest asset.
