The Freiburg Red Cross (SRC) is a cantonal association and member of the Swiss Red Cross. Our association employs around 160 staff members, is supported by 500 volunteers, and is active in the health and social sectors. We are committed to all people in need and adhere to the principles of the Red Cross. Due to the upcoming retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a person for the Red Cross emergency call service. In this role, you will ensure the support of care and assistance at home, the smooth operation of the Red Cross emergency call service, and the processing of inquiries regarding electric nursing beds. You will ensure a rapid, efficient, and structured exchange between the volunteers of the emergency call center and the relatives. In this function, you will receive and process customer inquiries, organize the interventions, take care of the logistics in the area of equipment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. You are the contact person for logistical and technical questions regarding the Red Cross emergency call service and electric nursing beds.Main tasks:- Receiving inquiries for the activation of the emergency call system and data entry in the software;- Planning of interventions with volunteers and forwarding of all necessary information;- Monitoring of operations as well as handling of emergencies or technical problems in cooperation with the emergency call center;- Management of equipment stocks, including maintenance, return, and inventory;- Coordination of deliveries of electric nursing beds;- Monitoring of invoicing, accounts receivable, volunteer settlements, and participation coordination with various partners.Required profile:- Commercial clerk (EFZ) with at least 5 years of professional experience or equivalent education;- Experience in logistics or customer service;- Native language French or German with excellent knowledge of the other language; bilingualism is essential for the position;- Pronounced organizational skills, diligence, and the ability to set priorities;- Confident handling of common digital tools, especially Office Suite, email, and databases;- Basic technical knowledge in the areas of electronic devices, telephony, and network connections is an advantage;- Very good social skills, empathy, and diplomatic skill;- Knowledge of the health/social network and experience in working with volunteers are desirable.Start date:- December 1st or by arrangementApplications with CV, photo, and the usual documents are to be submitted to the Red Cross by July 24th. jid9c69461aen jit0727aen jpiy26aen
