The Fribourg Red Cross (CRF) is a cantonal association founded in 1909, a member of the Swiss Red Cross. With around 160 employees and the support of 500 volunteers, our institution is active in the fields of health, migration, and social services. We act particularly in favour of any vulnerable person, respecting the fundamental principles of the Red Cross.
In view of the upcoming retirement of the current holder, we are looking for a
Red Cross Alarm Coordinator
As part of home care services, you will ensure the coordination and smooth operational functioning of the Red Cross Alarm system, as well as the provision of electric beds. You guarantee a rapid, effective, and structured mobilisation of volunteers and stakeholders, in connection with beneficiaries, their relatives, the alarm centre, and internal partners.
In this role, you receive and process requests, organise interventions, manage the technical and administrative follow-up of equipment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the service. You are the primary contact for logistical and technical questions related to alarms and electric beds.
Main tasks:
- Receive alarm installation requests and enter information into the software;
- Plan installations with volunteers and provide them with the necessary information;
- Ensure follow-up of interventions, liaise with the centre, and manage emergencies or technical disputes;
- Manage local stock, maintenance, recovery, rotation, and inventory of equipment;
- Organise deliveries of electric beds, monitor invoicing, debtors, volunteer expenses, and statistics;
- Participate in coordination meetings with various partners.
Required profile:
- Commercial employee CFC with at least 5 years of professional experience or equivalent training;
- Experience in the social field or customer service;
- Native French or German speaker with excellent knowledge of the other language; bilingualism is essential for the role;
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities;
- Comfortable with common digital tools, including Office suite, spreadsheets, email, and file management;
- Basic technical knowledge of electronic devices, teleassistance, telephony, and connections is an asset;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, listening ability, and diplomacy;
- Knowledge of the health-social network and experience with volunteers are desirable.
