On behalf of our client, a major player in the railway sector based in the Yverdon region, we are looking for a 100% temporary 6-month assignment for a

Your mission:

• Stock management: Ensure the receipt, dispatch and compacting of equipment using forklifts (counterbalance and reach mast).
• Flow and quality: Apply the FIFO principle, manage expiry dates, monitor critical items and handle hazardous products.
• Preparation and production: Perform picking of items according to orders, as well as packaging and repackaging of shipments.
• Logistics administration: Accurately record goods movements (receipts, dispatches, stock quantities) in SAP and manage internal/external transports.
• Routine maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, good condition and safety of handling equipment used daily.

Required technical skills:

• Forklift licence: Mandatory SUVA licence for operating front forklifts (counterbalance and reach mast forklifts).
• ERP proficiency: Proven experience and ease in using SAP software (logistics modules).
• Language skills: Mandatory fluency in French or German (knowledge of Italian is an asset).

Your profile:

• Education: Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) or an AFP in Logistics, or equivalent training.
• Personal requirements: Strong sense of safety in an industrial environment, rigour in quality control and strict adherence to procedures.
• Physical abilities: Excellent physical condition and medical fitness to operate handling equipment.
