Radiation Oncology TechnicianClinique de La Source is a unique multidisciplinary acute care facility. The Center has a range of radiation oncology treatments and is equipped with state-of-the-art linear accelerators.We are looking for a Radiation Oncology Technician.Key information about the position:- Type of contract: Permanent, 100%- Schedule: Monday to Friday, according to two shifts: 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.- Start date: As soon as we find the right person- Location: In the heart of Lausanne (M2 Riponne or Bus 2, 3, or 21, Beaulieu-Jomini stop)Why do we need you?Following the departure of one of our technicians, we are looking for a radiation oncology technician to complete our team. Every day, you will put your technical skills to work for human and secure care.What will you be doing?- Welcome and inform patients and their families, guiding them throughout their treatment.- Install and position patients, taking into account their comfort, physical condition, and treatment plan.- Carry out radiotherapy sessions in compliance with medical protocols, ensuring safety, radiation protection, and quality of care at all times, working autonomously and in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.- Use the department's devices optimally and ensure the quality of imaging validated by doctors.- Implement necessary immobilization devices and apply planned dosimetry with rigor, while knowing how to adapt protocols according to medical requirements.- Relay medical instructions, particularly for patients requiring special monitoring during or after sessions.- Participate in department activities and contribute to the training and integration of new colleagues and students.Who will you be working with?You will join a team of 14 passionate and enthusiastic technicians and dosimetrists.
