This department's mission is to ensure the stewardship and logistics necessary for the proper functioning of all HUG facilities, including cleaning and disinfection of premises and laundry hygiene. It also manages the catering service, the biomedical and equipment service, as well as Cressy-Santé.More than 1,000 professionals carry out their missions daily with a constant concern for excellence, with a sense of service and responsibility.The Biomedical & Equipment Service, composed of 50 employees, is responsible for the management of the medical equipment fleet of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). Its main functions are technological and regulatory monitoring, planning of investments, prescription, acquisition, and maintenance of medical equipment. In addition, this service implements and follows the prescriptions of SwissMedic (the head of service is the HUG correspondent for SwissMedic).The Biomedical Quality Sector includes 2 quality managers, under the responsibility of the head of service.Quality Assistant - 60%As part of your activity, you assist the quality manager of the Biomedical and Equipment Service (SBE) within the framework of the activity of the Materiovigilance (vigilance concerning Medical Devices) for which the SBE is responsible. The activity requires support in data processing and management of files. Under the supervision of the Quality Sector Manager and in collaboration with the quality manager, you handle tasks related to the quality function, involving traceability and monitoring of ascending and descending alerts. You ensure the entry and follow-up of incidents until their closure using Outlook, Excel, and Ennov tools. You analyze and transcribe instructions to correspondents in the services, prepare Swissmedic announcements with the dedicated form for correspondents in the services. You are responsible for quality assurance and distribute safety notices that concern the HUG (batch recalls/software updates/cybersecurity...).You guarantee exchanges and communication with quality managers for ascending alerts and prepare and co-facilitate meetings of the Vigilance Commission. In collaboration with the risk management unit, you provide help and support for the resolution of SAE (serious adverse events on behalf of the DG).You support and methodologically organize the activities of the traceability unit, risk investigation, and management.You hold a Federal Certificate of Proficiency (CFC) as a commercial employee or a diploma in administration completed by a certificate. You possess two years of experience in a company in the medical field. Experience in a similar function represents an asset. You master office tools (Excel, specific software, etc.) and you have notions related to the Quality and continuous improvement process. You have general knowledge of Medical Devices (standards, etc.).You demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and organization. You are also endowed with a good spirit of synthesis which allows you to present your ideas clearly, and ease in contact facilitates your integration internally.
