Located in the Vevey region, between city and countryside, the Cité du Genévrier hosts adults with disabilities due to intellectual impairment. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers residents a particularly harmonious living and working environment, as well as a set of skills tailored to their needs. As part of the Eben-Hézer project, the Cité du Genévrier is a custodian of the moral testament of its Sister Julie Hofmann. It considers the happiness of its residents as a priority of its actions.MissionThe Le Cerisier group is a mixed living space that welcomes eight adults with intellectual disabilities. Most of them have been receiving care since their adolescence. They present cognitive challenges that require individualized support for all daily activities. The guiding principle of this group is oriented towards developing autonomy and maintaining physical and mental skills to ensure a good quality of life. The team consists of nine ASE professionals. Particular attention is given to the balance between women and men to meet the support needs of residents, and long-term commitment from team members is desired, as it contributes to the sense of security of the beneficiaries. This commitment aligns with a vision of familial-style support, seen as providing sustainable benchmarks conducive to the psycho-affective stability of the beneficiaries. To complement the team, we are looking for a social worker or assistant (H/F).Requirements:- Hold a HES degree or a CFC in assisting or a related field.- Have confirmed experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, with prior experience in supporting adults with severe disabilities.- Be sensitive to physical and cognitive challenges.- Have a strong interest in supporting daily life activities and providing care.- Have the ability to work in a team and take initiative.- Be dynamic and proficient with usual tools, possess a driver's license, and be willing to work irregular hours, including during weekends.We offer you the opportunity to participate in a project and evolve in a work environment conducive to fulfilling the mission and your professional growth.
