Boost our team

You will become part of a Quality Assurance function led by the site QA (FvP/QP) and organized into three key teams:

  • QA Operations dedicated to the review of batch records and close partnership with production teams
  • Compliance QA team, overseeing change requests, managing deviations, and ensuring precise regulatory documentation, process validation, inspections, QMR, and PQR
  • CQV (Commissioning, Qualification & Validation) team, responsible for validation activities, engineering oversight, and IT QA

About the role

As a QA Specialist (f/m/d), you will assist the Qualified Person (FvP) in releasing and distributing vaccines in Switzerland and abroad, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. You will coordinate among logistics, quality assurance, and customer service with an emphasis on safety, traceability, and service quality.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support FvP activities in compliance with Swissmedic and GDP/GMP standards, serving as a liaison with regulatory authorities (Swissmedic, EMA, FDA)
  • Provide direct support to the Qualified Person (FvP) for imported products and distribution within Switzerland and internationally
  • Coordinate domestic and international product release and batch disposition, ensuring compliant import and wholesale activities
  • Ensure medicinal products meet Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements
  • Work with internal and external partners to uphold compliance
  • Oversee quality assurance, risk management, storage, transport, and conduct audits

Qualifications:

  • Degree in pharmacy, natural sciences, or equivalent, with at least 3 years' Quality Assurance experience in pharmaceuticals or related fields
  • Experience in Logistics, Quality Assurance, or as a (Deputy) Responsible Person is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, GDP, and relevant regulatory standards including Swissmedic and Swiss wholesale laws
  • Proven leadership in audits and regulatory inspections for Swiss Health Authorities
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Strong communication skills
