We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a Team Leader to lead a team of technical buyers and actively contribute to the development of a Swiss industrial company recognized for its high value-added technical projects.This position is aimed at an experienced professional wishing to combine management, steering, and proximity with the field. As a true liaison between Management, technical teams, and suppliers, you play a key role in the industrial performance of the company.RoleAs Team Leader, you are responsible for the performance and development of your team. You accompany buyers in their daily activities, support them in the most complex negotiations, and ensure the skills development of each individual. Your role is not limited to management: you participate directly in decisions that commit the company, by defining strategies and securing partnerships with key suppliers. You work in close collaboration with the Technical Office, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams in order to integrate procurement issues from the initial phases of projects and to guarantee the availability of the most suitable technical solutions. On a daily basis, you arbitrate priorities, accompany sensitive projects, and ensure the achievement of objectives in terms of quality, costs, deadlines, and risk management.Daily tasks- You lead and develop a team of technical buyers, creating an environment fostering autonomy, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices.- You define strategies by product families and identify levers allowing for the sustainable improvement of the company's competitiveness.- You participate in development projects in collaboration with technical teams, bringing your expertise on the choice of suppliers, the analysis of industrial risks, and market opportunities.- You steer the most complex calls for tenders and intervene directly in high-stakes negotiations, both on technical and commercial aspects.- You develop sustainable relationships with industrial partners, carry out supplier visits, and conduct audits when necessary in order to secure supplies and guarantee the required level of performance.- You follow KPIs, analyze supplier performance, and implement necessary action plans in collaboration with the various departments.- You ensure permanent monitoring of markets, new technologies, and industrial developments in order to anticipate future needs and accompany the company's development strategy.Profile- You have a higher technical education, ideally supplemented by training in Supply Chain, management, or engineering.- You justify confirmed experience in industrial purchasing, supplemented by a first successful experience in management or team coordination.- You master complex industrial environments and are comfortable in exchanges with design offices, project teams, and suppliers.- You are recognized for your leadership, your ability to unite teams, and your aptitude for accompanying change.- As a confirmed negotiator, you know how to defend the interests of your company while building sustainable relationships with your partners.- Your analytical mind, your ability to make decisions, and your strategic vision allow you to intervene effectively on subjects with high technical and economic stakes.Languages- Fluent French- Professional English essential- German constitutes a real assetWhat our client offers- A position at the heart of decisions- Management of a team of experienced technical buyers- Strong autonomy in the definition and steering of purchasing strategies- Varied technical projects with high added value- A demanding industrial environment, fostering innovation and professional development jid649ed9caen jit0832aen jpiy26aen
