Currently, for our headquarters located in Biel/Bienne, we are looking for our "Mechanical Development" department a:

Tasks:

• Ensure the set-up of prototypes intended to verify the feasibility of new medical devices according to the specifications
• Analyse and optimise existing products in collaboration with the product lines

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble, set up and test new products in collaboration with engineers and mechanics
• Design and produce measuring and assembly tools
• Manage and carry out verification tests of prototypes defined by engineers
• Provide functional specifications related to the tested prototypes
• Document the analysis and optimisation phases of product set-up and ensure traceability
• Ensure the supply of components, instruments and tools necessary for analysis and set-up work, based on a technical file
• Participate in product industrialisation in collaboration with engineers
• Contribute to the evaluation of new technologies

Skills:

• Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as micromechanic, polymechanic or equivalent qualification
• Interest in conventional precision mechanics while being open to occasional work on CNC machines
• Versatile, creative person, attentive to detail and with good analytical and synthesis skills
• Able to work independently while demonstrating a true team spirit
