The Municipal Central Purchasing and Printing Office (CMAI) implements a municipal purchasing policy for supplies and services in accordance with current legislation, particularly regarding public procurement, and incorporating the principles of sustainable development. To complete the Purchasing unit team, the CMAI is looking for a
Project Purchasing Section Manager at 80%
Your mission and responsibilities
- Participate in the management of the service, lead, supervise and oversee the project purchasing section team.
- Lead, coordinate and control the implementation of projects in the project purchasing section portfolio for the entire Municipal Administration, in compliance with directives and applicable laws.
- Manage and organise the entire purchasing process for the category or categories under your responsibility, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and directives applicable to all services of the Administration.
- Provide advice, methodological and strategic assistance to internal Administration contacts as well as to external contacts.
Your profile
- Hold a master’s degree in the relevant field or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate expertise in purchasing and project management.
- Have solid experience in managing public procurement in Switzerland.
- Have experience in leading and managing a team.
- Possess excellent analytical and planning skills.
- Knowledge of public administration operations is an asset.
