About the Role

On behalf of our client, an international maritime transport company headquartered in Geneva, we are looking for a project operator.

As a regional manager and/or raw material purchasing manager (bitumen), you will be responsible for operational coordination with clients, suppliers, and other partners.

This role will require you to demonstrate organisation, versatility, and excellent interpersonal skills! In return, you will quickly develop your knowledge and skills within the organisation.

Tasks

• Manage the supply chain for various international projects
• Coordinate procurement operations (maritime, road, air)
• Ensure operational coordination with clients, suppliers, and other partners
• Negotiate freight terms (quantity, delivery, etc.)
• Collaborate with commercial assistants

We are looking for

• Initial successful experience in maritime transport and/or cost negotiation
• French, English (minimum C1) and Spanish or Italian (minimum B2)
• Autonomous, solution-oriented personality with a commercial mindset and proactive approach
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Very good knowledge of Excel
