The client is a recognized SME with around 60 employees known for the quality of its construction management and its active approach in project management, construction direction, and delegated project ownership, with a presence in French-speaking Switzerland and Bern. As a favored partner of owners and architects, it operates throughout the entire lifecycle of projects, primarily on large-scale public and parapublic projects, combining technical demands, architectural quality, and sustainable impact. In a context of developing its Fribourg office, it is currently strengthening its teams and we are looking for a Construction Project Manager – MO. You evolve in a central role, at the interface between vision and reality. As a true partner of owners and architects, you provide structure, clarity, and decision-making throughout the project. You work within a model that prioritizes collaboration with architects, authorities, and colleagues, offering insights to the general contractor and enabling finer, more transparent project management. Your ability to anticipate, unite, and challenge various stakeholders allows you to secure projects and ensure their success in a demanding environment. Key Responsibilities:- Participate from the early phases in studies and support for the project management or architects.- Analyze client needs and translate them into concrete and feasible solutions.- Act as a conductor by organizing and coordinating all internal and external stakeholders. - Develop and manage schedules, structure construction phases, ensure compliance, and propose measures when necessary.- Assist with the application processes for building permits and advocate for projects with the authorities.- Supervise tenders and selection files for contractors and subcontractors, particularly within public procurement procedures.- Ensure cost control, manage budgets, and handle contractual management.- Identify, anticipate, and manage risks and opportunities throughout the projects.- Lead teams and engage stakeholders to advance projects.- Challenge projects and ensure optimal execution until completion.Profile:With a degree in architecture, engineering (EPF/HES), or equivalent, you have a solid foundation in the field of project management and have proven experience in managing construction projects in Switzerland, ideally with public projects and in complex environments. You are familiar with cost management, timelines, and the challenges related to different project phases. Comfortable with tools, you use MS Project, Excel, and ideally Messerli or other environments. You are proficient in French and have good knowledge of German, enabling you to thrive in a multilingual environment. Engaged and driven, you demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to move projects forward. Due to your open-mindedness, listening skills, and architectural sensitivity, you quickly understand the context of your projects. With excellent communication skills, you provide leadership and foster teamwork and collaboration. Comfortable with numbers, you appreciate the financial aspects and have a concrete vision of the various phases of project development.
