It is also having the opportunity, as a Project Engineer in design and renewal and substation supervision for energy, to serve a sustainable Geneva.As a Project Engineer, you will have to ensure the following tasks:- Participate in the development and implementation of simulation tools (such as Flownex) for hydraulic and thermal networks in all areas of SIG's activities in order to validate concepts during deployment, study their behavior, optimize their operation, and implement control systems;- Participate in the design of structures integrated into intelligent management systems within the framework of the Genilac and Geniterre thermal projects;- Develop or participate in tools/documents/rules necessary for the standardization of study and execution processes;- Create or participate in the drafting of documents such as specifications, tender documents, functional analyses, test protocols, manuals, and project documentation;- Manage projects in the study and execution phase in accordance with the objectives of respecting the triptych of costs, quality, and deadlines;- Compose and manage internal or external project teams necessary for the execution of the tasks or projects entrusted to you.Your personality and your skillsThis position requires the following skills:- Mastery of project management methods and tools;- Mastery or good knowledge of the field of process engineering for hydraulic systems and its application in the industrial field:- Definition and design of complex processes involving the implementation of a management level such as middleware.- Knowledge of simulation software: Flownex, DistrictLab.- Mastery or good knowledge of the field of automation of industrial processes applied to the fields of hydraulics applied to thermal energy:- Definition and design of processes (control logic loops, system topology, communication networks, and sets of switchgear) and knowledge of Swiss norms and standards such as SIA, SUVA, NIBT, machine directive.- Knowledge of HMI and related technologies from brands such as Schneider (Modicon), Saia, PCVue.- Knowledge in instrumentation: sensors and actuators; variable speed drives; motorized valves; electric drives... and associated types of electrical signals.- Proactivity and team spirit;- Ability for self-management, management of suppliers or subcontractors;- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously;- Ease and ability to work in a team;- Excellent oral and written communication;- Ability to integrate into a working group by bringing the realities and constraints of the industrial world;- Openness to change;- Interest in technological monitoring.Considered as assets:- Knowledge of English (read and written);- Continuous training in the field.Your background:- You are an engineer in energy/automation having managed or taken part in large-scale projects with at least 3-5 years of experience;- You demonstrate active participation in a project group that has analyzed, modeled, and piloted a complex hydraulic industrial process in the field of energy production;- You demonstrate a good command of project management including financial aspects, planning, monitoring, and reporting;- You demonstrate good experience in industrial automation and its implementation.Joining SIG means participating in the change!SIG is a local public company serving the population, businesses, and public authorities of Geneva.
