## Job Description ##
* Assist with specific projects within the Grant Management division.
* Ensure all stages of grant management comply with established procedures.
* Manage data collection, storage, monitoring, and reporting related to grants.
* **Geopolitical Awareness:** Understanding of various social, political, and economic contexts at national and regional levels that may affect program planning and implementation.
* **Policy Acumen:** Knowledge of internal policies and practices to support decision-making and improve internal processes.
* **Financial Analysis:** Understanding of program financing and financial analysis.
* **Program Preparation and Implementation Management:** Ability to develop and manage effective work plans, communicate planning at the country level, and collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
* **Prioritization:** Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities and work streams in high-volume portfolios.
* **Coordination:** Ability to consult, communicate, and represent the Global Fund with partners on specific projects/tasks.
* **Negotiation:** Ability to anticipate challenges in program implementation and effectively liaise with donors and partners.
* **External Engagement:** Ability to identify opportunities for increased external engagement with relevant in-country partners in line with the overall corporate strategy.
## The Successful Applicant ##
**Qualifications:**
* A university degree in public or business administration, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional training or self-study/work experience.
**Experience:**
* **Essential:** Proven experience in project or program management.
* **Desirable:**
* At least two years as a Project Officer/Coordinator or four years as a Project Assistant with an international development organization, financial institution, or similar experience in the private sector.
* Experience in financial and program management.
* Monitoring and evaluation experience.
* Experience working in multicultural/national teams.
**Competencies:**
**Languages:**
* Excellent command of English and Spanish.
* Preferably, good knowledge of French or one of the following: Arabic, Portuguese, Russian. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
