We are looking for our Site Protection service a Professional Firefighter Officer Responsible for Training

Your mission:

• You ensure the safety of the Monthey industrial park and its surroundings, being part of the first response team of the professional firefighters corps
• You are in charge of firefighter training

• Participate in the safety concept of the Monthey industrial park and its surroundings
• Manage routine and major interventions
• Provide on-call service (Duty Officer)
• Manage projects
• Lead teams during interventions and outside interventions
• Organise internal and external training as well as firefighter training
• Continuously update your training in Switzerland or Europe

• A higher education in a technical or administrative field
• Firefighter officer training completed by one or more specialities
• A driving licence, categories B and C
• French as your mother tongue, with knowledge of English and/or German (an advantage)
• At least 5 years of experience as a section chief or staff officer in a professional or permanent firefighters corps
• Solid experience as a commanding officer in charge of multi-partner interventions
• Good skills in command post management
• Experience as a firefighter instructor and/or adult trainer
• A natural, inspiring and charismatic leadership, with a dynamic personality, excellent interpersonal skills and high stress resistance
• Health and physical condition compliant with FSSP requirements and SUVA periodic performance tests, certified by an internal medical examination
• A clean criminal record will be required for this position
• Specificity of the role: the holder must reside or commit to residing within 30 minutes of the site. This is a position with mixed hours including team work periods and daytime work as well as on-call duty in compliance with current legislation.
