We are looking for a person to join our team in Vevey.
As a professional curator, your main mission is to protect the interests of adults and their assets when they are in difficulty and need assistance. You manage the administration of the persons you are mandated for in order to cover their basic needs. You uphold their rights while taking into account their wishes and capacities.
You make decisions for the beneficiaries and organise the necessary services for protection and assistance in areas such as housing, health, and legal matters.
You contribute daily to the prospect of a dignified and autonomous life for all, thus participating in social justice.
Responsibilities
- Diligent management of adult protection measures entrusted by the cantonal Justices of the Peace, in accordance with the legal and regulatory framework.
- Asset management and legal representation.
- Management of beneficiaries' income and expenses.
- Development of an active partnership with professional networks and beneficiaries' relatives.
- Building a relationship of trust with beneficiaries.
- Commitment to the initial training required for the role and to ongoing training useful for service development.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences or university.
- 3 years of professional experience related to the service's missions or significant experience in supporting vulnerable adults.
- Any additional training related to health, addiction, migration, law, budget management, and social insurance is welcome.
- Excellent organisational skills, administrative and financial rigour.
- Autonomy, stress resistance, sense of responsibility and priorities.
- Open-mindedness, listening skills, flexibility, great adaptability and learning capacity.
- Disclosure of any criminal record as well as an extract from the Debt Collection Office is required for this position.
- Driving licence.
