Production Manager: Swiss excellence in precision machine toolsFor over 60 years, the company has designed, developed, and manufactured high-precision CNC machines for some of the most demanding sectors in the world. Recognized for the quality of its products, its constant innovation, and its industrial expertise, the company supports clients active in the medical, aeronautical, watchmaking, automotive, and tooling sectors.In the context of the upcoming retirement of its Production Manager, we are looking for their future successor to fill the position of:PRODUCTION MANAGERMISSIONAs the true conductor of industrial operations, you will manage assembly, testing, and delivery activities for the machines. You will guarantee the performance of the entire industrial value chain while respecting safety, quality, cost, and deadline requirements. You will manage a team numbering between 50 and 90 people, depending on activity volumes.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage the performance of assembly and testing operations: You are responsible for the execution of the machine assembly program as well as the performance of associated testing activities. You guarantee the achievement of objectives while strictly respecting safety rules and the company's quality standards.- Manage and develop teams: You manage a team structured around several Team Leaders and their teams. As a hands-on manager, you place great importance on your presence on the shop floor and maintain a relationship of trust with your teams through your exemplary behavior, listening skills, and sense of fairness.- Ensure industrial planning: In close collaboration with sales and the supply chain, you guarantee the balance between load, production capacities, and company objectives. You are notably responsible for supervising the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with a six-month horizon and for contributing to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) with a six to eighteen-month vision. Your ability to anticipate load changes and build industrial scenarios is a key success factor in this role.- Deploy operational excellence: You are a major player in continuous improvement within the company.
