Production Manager (M/F) (100%)

Your mission
Reporting to the Production Director, you take responsibility for a strategic sector composed of around 50 employees working in a demanding environment where quality, industrial performance, and aesthetic excellence are at the heart of priorities.
A true hands-on manager, you oversee all production activities in your sector and actively contribute to achieving the company’s industrial objectives.
Your responsibilities
Team management and development
- Supervise, support, and develop the skills of production teams working in 3-shift schedules
- Unite employees around a culture of performance, commitment, and accountability
- Support coordinators and key personnel in their daily tasks
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment
Industrial performance management
- Ensure achievement of safety, quality, cost, and deadline objectives
- Manage performance indicators and implement necessary actions for their improvement
- Ensure adherence to the production plan and contribute to improving service rates
- Identify, structure, and lead action plans to optimise operational performance of the sector
Cross-functional coordination and continuous improvement
- Work closely with Methods, Industrialisation, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning departments
- Actively participate in the introduction of new products and their ramp-up
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and industrial transformations within the department
- Ensure application of manufacturing standards and quality requirements
Operational excellence
- Ensure control of production activities in an environment with a high diversity of products and processes
- Support teams in resolving complex technical and organisational issues
- Ensure compliance with the highest standards of quality and product excellence
Your profile
- Advanced technical education (HES Engineer, EPF or equivalent)
- Significant experience managing production teams in a demanding industrial environment
- Experience ideally gained in watchmaking, jewellery, microtechnology, medical, or precision mechanics
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and complex manufacturing environments
- Recognised leadership and strong hands-on orientation
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Developed sense of continuous improvement and industrial performance
- Ability to make decisions and support change
