Product Safety Specialist (m/f/x)
Your Responsibilities
You apply and promote risk assessment processes in accordance with EN ISO 12100 and ensure their consistent application
You coordinate the implementation of product risk assessments in collaboration with engineering and other relevant departments
You ensure the implementation of applicable product safety requirements, guidelines and standards
You support communication with customers and external stakeholders on product safety and risk assessment topics for specific projects
You use your broad technical understanding to identify potential risks across mechanical, electrical, software and other technical aspects of our products
You contribute to technical discussions and challenge existing solutions constructively from a product safety perspective
Your Profile
You have completed technical education or vocational training in a relevant field
You have several years of professional experience in an industrial environment, ideally in machinery or heavy-duty equipment, basic knowledge in combustion engine technologies is an advantage
You have a broad technical understanding covering areas such as technical drawings, mechanical design, hardware/software development and other relevant technologies
You have practical knowledge of product safety and risk assessment, including experience with EN ISO 12100
You have a good understanding of international product safety requirements and can translate them into practical solutions
You are curious, eager to learn and comfortable working beyond your initial area of expertise
You are confident and assertive in discussions, while remaining constructive and solution-oriented
You are used to work autonomously, focused on clear targets
You are team player with focus, finding together the best solution while maintaining the safety goals as defined in the Risk Assessment
