Join a global team shaping the future of buildings with measurable impact for customers, communities, and the planet.Your MissionIn this role, you will strengthen product management excellence and own the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) process across Buildings. You will improve the processes, tools, standards, and governance to enable effective lifecycle management across hardware and digital offerings. By building a strong PLM framework and developing product management capabilities, you will help deliver better business cases, faster time to market, stronger lifecycle decisions, and commercial success. This role will be based in Zug, Switzerland.Your ResponsibilitiesPLM Framework, Governance and Process Ownership- Own, harmonize and improve the end-to-end PLM process for Buildings across hardware and digital offerings, including governance, processes, tools, standards, and alignment.- Build a scalable PLM framework to drive best practices and support effective lifecycle management, clear decisions, and consistent execution in agile environments.Performance Enablement and Excellence- Enable a high-performing PLM culture with the governance and transparency needed to improve commercial success, business case KPIs, time to market, time to value, and performance.- Leverage AI-enabled productivity, analytics, and decision support to improve lifecycle outcomes and execution quality.Capability Building and Product Management Enablement- Coach product managers in business case development, customer advisory boards, go-to-market planning, and sales and marketing enablement.- Develop the curriculum for product managers, and lead training and workshops to support effective PLM execution.Cross-Functional Alignment and Lifecycle Execution- Enable cross-functional alignment and execution across the product lifecycle by embedding PLM in ways of working, clarifying roles, and improving decision-making.- Partner with business leaders, product managers, product owners, and agile teams to ensure consistent execution across the product lifecycle.What Makes You Successful in This Role- PLM and product management excellence - You strengthen product management through robust lifecycle processes and scalable ways of working.- Strong business and commercial understanding - You understand business cases, product economics, go-to-market enablers, and lifecycle performance drivers.- Influence across functions - You align business leaders, product managers, product owners, agile teams, and senior leadership on PLM goals.- Continuous improvement - You equip teams with tools, workshops, and clear standards, and continuously improve PLM processes.- Driving impact - You simplify complexity, accelerate time-to-market, and improve PLM and business results.Your ProfileRequired- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience in product management, PLM, and product management excellence in a technical B2B environment.- 10+ years of experience in PLM, process improvement, model development, or business management in a complex global organization.- Knowledge of the building and infrastructure technology industry.- Strong understanding of PLM frameworks, processes, and tools, as well as agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.- Experience in training, enablement, and change management, with strong analytical skills and a passion for process excellence.- Strong understanding of business case development, go-to-market support, sales and marketing enablement, and performance reporting.- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and build consensus in matrix organizations.- Communication skills for senior management and executive interaction.Preferred- Experience working with global teams and stakeholders.- Expertise in product management excellence, PLM improvement, or operating model development.- Proven record as a senior expert or influential individual contributor driving improvement without direct people leadership.If you are energized by strengthening product management excellence, owning PLM processes and tools, and improving business outcomes across the product lifecycle, this role offers the opportunity to make visible benefits.- 2-3 days per week of mobile working is standard.- Mobility allowance.- Varied further training opportunities.- Access to employee share programs.Further information about employee benefits can be found here.Our culture - your new working environmentThe culture in Switzerland is more than just a working environment - it is the heart of our day-to-day interactions and the key to our success.
