RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead process optimization and operational excellence initiatives across suspended mineral and wet processing operations.
- Provide process engineering leadership for capital projects, including process design, flowsheet development, equipment specification, commissioning, and performance validation.
- Support scale-up and industrialization of new products, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze operational performance using process data, advanced analytics, and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify sustainable improvement opportunities.
- Drive digitalization initiatives by implementing modern process monitoring, data analytics, and performance management tools.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Product Development, and R\&D teams worldwide.
- Develop and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and process documentation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and plant teams.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives through improved resource utilization, water management, energy efficiency, and process reliability.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Precipitation and mineralization processes
- Slurry preparation and handling systems
- Media stirred mills and wet grinding technologies
- Flotation, filtration, thickening, and dewatering
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Minerals Processing, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in chemical processing, mineral processing, industrial manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of wet processing operations and process scale-up.
- Experience supporting CAPEX projects and commissioning activities.
- Experience with advanced data analytics, digital process monitoring, process modelling, machine learning applications, simulation software, or advanced process control is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%)
