Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and overseeing the implementation of a new, cutting-edge FinTech platform from the ground up, as reflected in our technical architecture. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing and implementing resilient, scalable, and secure core systems on the Microsoft Azure cloud.

Your architectural expertise will be crucial in the following areas:

Cloud Architecture: Designing a secure cloud foundation using services like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, and Azure Functions. This includes architecting secure network topologies with Virtual Networks, Private Endpoints, and Network Security Groups (NSGs).

Core System & Application Design: Architecting solutions leveraging technologies like .NET 9 and Core.

Data & Security: Designing data strategies using Azure SQL (the cloud evolution of SQL Server) and Cosmos DB. This includes implementing performance caching with Azure Cache for Redis and ensuring a strong security posture with tools like Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Key Vault, and identity protocols like OAuth

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & DevOps: Leading the strategy for automation and deployment using Terraform, Pulumi, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will be instrumental in shaping the CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub.

API & Integration Strategy: Defining the standards for RESTful Web APIs (Swagger, OpenAPI) and designing critical integrations, including with Core Banking APIs, all managed through API Management.

Observability & Resilience: Architecting for high availability and performance through comprehensive monitoring with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. You will also guide application-level resilience with patterns like Polly and structured logging with Serilog.

Emerging Technologies: Designing the infrastructure to support MLOps initiatives.
