Platform Engineer - AWS | EKS | Terraform RED Global are supporting a major European organisation undergoing large-scale cloud platform growth and are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on a fully remote basis. This is a hands-on role focused on building and improving internal platforms, cloud infrastructure, automation tooling and developer enablement capabilities. You'll be working within a modern AWS environment, helping engineering teams deploy and operate services at scale. Project details: Role: Platform Engineer Start: ASAP Duration: 6 months + potential extension Location: Europe (Fully remote) Key Skills Required: Strong commercial experience with AWS Proven experience building and operating Amazon EKS environments Advanced Terraform expertise, including reusable modules and production-grade infrastructure Strong scripting or programming skills in Python, Go or similar Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of serverless and event-driven AWS services such as: Lambda SQS SNS EventBridge API Gateway DynamoDB AWS networking, security and IAM experience Ability to troubleshoot across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking and deployment pipelines Desirable: AWS Organizations and multi-account environments Enterprise-scale platform engineering experience Security, governance and compliance exposure Hybrid cloud or on-premise infrastructure experience Media, broadcasting or digital content industry experience If this is of interest, please apply now with your updated CV for immediate consideration.
