We are looking for a Plastics Technologist - Extrusion for our client specializing in the chemical industry.Plastics Technologist - ExtrusionResponsibilities- Operate polymer processing equipment, mainly extrusion lines.- Perform assembly, disassembly, cleaning, and format changes of equipment.- Adjust, monitor, and optimize production parameters to ensure product quality.- Ensure the processing and handling of polymers in various forms: granules, molten (melt), polymer powders (PTFE and derivatives).- Identify and resolve process deviations and technical problems related to production.- Perform necessary process controls, including Melt Flow Rate (MFR) measurements.- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Technical Support teams.- Ensure first-level maintenance and proper operation of equipment.- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental procedures.- Document production parameters, tests, and maintenance interventions.Profile- Plastics Technologist, AFP completed by solid experience, or equivalent diploma (Bac Pro Plasturgie, BTS Europlastic, BTS Plastiques et Composites, etc.).Experience- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in plastics processing, ideally in an extrusion environment.- Experience in assembly, disassembly, and adjustment of equipment.- Experience in the processing of technical polymers appreciated.Skills and knowledge- Solid knowledge of polymer processing methods.- Mastery of extrusion technologies and machine parameters.- Knowledge of polymers in granule, melt, and powder forms.- Ability to diagnose and solve production problems.- Mastery of process controls, including Melt Flow Rate.- Proficiency in common tools (Word, Excel).- Fluent French.- Autonomous, rigorous, field-oriented, and problem-solving person.If you are interested and match the profile, you can apply directly by submitting your complete file (CV - diplomas - work certificates). jidc31c03aaen jit0832aen jpiy26aen
