Oriented towards a holistic approach to health and well-being, our specialties cover a wide range of medical and paramedical fields to meet the physical and psychological needs of our patients. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Pastry Commis.Your mission:- Familiarize yourself with the tasks by consulting the function sheets (banquet, cocktail, special menus).- Follow the planning of production and storage in the cold room.- Ensure the cleanliness of the workstation as well as its organization.- Respect the cleaning schedules for cold rooms and other sectors referenced by HACCP requirements.- Maintain exemplary cleanliness: jacket, apron, hair, hands, nails, beard.- Ensure safety (e.g., wearing safety shoes), define and apply the use of equipment safely. Be sensitive to work risks (slips, falls, burns, electrical or chemical hazards, cuts), apply and enforce instructions, report anomalies.- Announce missing products or those running low, note them as you go.- Determine the number of portions available for service, propose and inform about the daily preparations (number, quantity, volume), refer to basic recipes.- Participate in the active production, ensure the quality of products and the preparation of upcoming services.- Participate in the order list.- Leave precise instructions for staff on duty or for staff returning to work.- Taste, have others taste, control, rectify, and validate preparations.- Receive goods, verify quantities and quality.Your profile and skills:- Graduate of a hotel school or an apprenticeship in pastry.- Experience in the hotel industry in dietary cuisine.- Rigorous, organized, and professional.- Endowed with quality of service and a real sense of human relations.- Team spirit and discretion.- Available on weekends, flexible with working hours.- Good knowledge of hygiene rules.Workplace: Clarens - MontreuxType of contract: CDIActivity rate: 100%Start date: To be agreedWe offer you:- An enriching, dynamic environment with first-rate facilities.
