The L’Ombelle Foundation provides specialised education for children aged 4 to 16 who have learning difficulties, behavioural and developmental disorders.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, the constant evaluation of pedagogical and therapeutic projects, partnership with parents and support for their skills are part of our core values.

For our specialised education classes and the extracurricular sector, we are looking for:

  • 100% interns for a fixed period of 6 months
  • (from 10.08.26 to 05.02.27 or from 11.01.27 to 02.07.27)
  • 100% interns for the 2026-2027 school year
  • (from 10.08.26 to 02.07.27)

Location: Nyon

Contract type: Paid institutional internship (6 months or 1 year) full-time.

Salary: 1,345 CHF gross / month

Profile sought:

- Completed compulsory schooling, motivated to discover teaching and education professions

- Candidate seeking a mandatory preliminary internship (access to HES/ES courses) or a post-graduate internship.

- 100% availability on site during school days (excluding school holidays).

NB: This position is not suitable for an in-service or dual training internship (apprenticeship type), as the structure cannot provide academic training supervision in parallel.

Your missions:

- Interns contribute to supporting pupils in their learning and development.

- Classroom intervention alongside a teacher

- Supervision during midday reception with educators

- Participation in multidisciplinary class team meetings and institutional life

Expected activities (non-exhaustive)

Task description in classes

- Provide support to the teacher in the classroom context:

- Ancillary teaching tasks: welcoming children and leading morning receptions

- Accompanying children in daily life activities

- Supervising breaks,

- Direct support tasks for the teacher

- Supervising and helping a group of children with their individual tasks when the teacher is working with another part of the class for focused teaching time

- Supporting children’s attention in their school learning as requested by the teacher

- Developing and leading creative or playful activities

- Participating in multidisciplinary class team meetings

- Participating in institutional life

Task description during midday reception

- Provide support to midday reception supervisors

- Preparing the room, setting up tables and, if necessary, preparing a playful activity

- Welcoming children

- Taking the meal with the children

- Supervising children during playtime and/or playful activity
