The Fondation de Nant organises all public psychiatric care in the eastern Vaud region. It fulfils a public health mission at the request of the State of Vaud. Its care services are open to all, children, adolescents, adults and elderly people living in the districts of Aigle, Lavaux-Oron and Riviera-Pays-d’Enhaut. They are provided by Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Educators and other mental health professionals. The Fondation de Nant is a member of the Federation of Vaud Hospitals (FHV), the umbrella organisation of recognised regional hospitals of public interest in Vaud. It is also part of the Haut-Léman Health Network which brings together health partners from the Riviera and Pays-d’Enhaut with those from the Vaud and Valais Chablais. Attached to psychoanalysis through its history, the Fondation de Nant currently identifies with its contemporary developments. The resulting clinical vision is reflected through its practices, training and openness to other approaches.

To complete its team of the Emergency and Liaison Psychiatric Reception Service (SPAUL) within our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPEA), the Fondation de Nant is advertising a position for a

 

Paediatric Liaison Nurse at 80%

 

THE MISSION

The SPPEA cares for young people aged 0 to 18 and their families in eastern Vaud. It guarantees accessible, continuous and adapted paediatric psychiatric care to meet the needs of the population. The SPAUL’s mission is to welcome, assess, care for any patient in crisis requiring urgent psychiatric intervention and to direct them within the care system. As a liaison nurse, your main mission will be to ensure the follow-up of patients in paediatric liaison for patients hospitalised at the HRC.

 

WE OFFER

The SPAUL covers all liaison and psychiatric emergency activities in the eastern Vaud sector. It is attached to the Fondation de Nant and is the main contact for psychiatry at the HRC.

 

Working within this team means carrying out a varied activity within an interdisciplinary team.

 

It is also a unique opportunity to participate in the co-construction of care projects in paediatric psychiatry in eastern Vaud.

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

A person with experience in paediatric psychiatry holding a Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing, recognised by the Red Cross and with a good knowledge of the health environment in eastern Vaud. Holding a CAS in community health or liaison would be an asset.

 

We seek a person capable of collaborating within interdisciplinary teams, preventing and/or defusing crisis situations, as well as assessing, directing and containing while proposing appropriate care. Relational ease enabling engagement in an individual and group relational process, as well as good communication and negotiation skills, are expected.

 

Experience in a similar position, good autonomy, the ability to manage unforeseen events and stress, as well as skills in analysis and interdisciplinary coordination are essential to work in this environment.

 

 

Finally, some flexibility is required to fit into a position in evolution, currently under development.
