Head of the Committee for the Review of Restraint Measures in Socio-Educational InstitutionsJob DescriptionThe Social Policy Unit (UPSF) designs and manages cross-cutting projects and files for cantonal social policy. It also serves as a point of entry for any questions related to the socio-health personnel active in subsidized organizations and hosts the center of competence for monitoring and analysis managed by the General Directorate of Social Cohesion (DGCS). The Committee for the Review of Restraint Measures in Institutions (COREV) is part of the Social Policy Unit (UPSF) and is chaired by its head. The Committee for the Review of Restraint Measures in Institutions (COREV) is a multidisciplinary committee that was established by the Department of Health and Social Action (DSAS) to defend the rights of people with disabilities. Its mission is to oversee the active restraint measures in establishments (ESE) for adults in the canton of Vaud to guarantee the integrity, fundamental rights, and dignity of people with disabilities. To strengthen its expertise, the Social Policy Unit (UPSF) is looking for a Head of the Committee for the Review of Restraint Measures in Institutions (COREV).ResponsibilitiesManage the Committee for the Review of Restraint Measures in Institutions (COREV) and actively assist the chair in conducting the committee's work. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disability desired and if possible, independent management experience. Ease in managing multiple professional tasks, sometimes complex, and with various professionals is expected. Responsibility and skills in the field of ethics are desired. Ability to work very independently and possess flexibility.
