To strengthen our team, we are looking for an On-call Cook.Definition of the function and missionPrepare and present all types of dishes served in the establishment. Perform all tasks that contribute to promoting the quality of service: preparation, control of the quality and quantity of products, with the work schedule being established by the Chef de Partie or the Chef in charge.RESPONSIBILITIESDaily tasks – kitchen- Ensure the cleanliness of the workstation as well as its organization (equipment, surfaces, fridges, etc.).- Respect cleaning schedules according to HACCP standards and report anomalies.- Perform cleaning according to the Chef's requests and HACCP requirements.- Maintain impeccable hygiene (uniform, hands, hair, beard, etc.).- Ensure the safety and correct use of equipment.- Report missing products or inquire about daily preparations according to basic recipes.- Actively participate in the production and management of stocks.- Check expiration dates and the quality of products.- Prepare upcoming setups.- Request or provide information related to production.- Participate in the order list.- Transmit precise instructions for the continuity of service.- Taste, control, and have productions validated.- Respect schedules and report any delay or absence.- Receive goods and check their compliance.- Control and organize the cold room and storage areas.Weekly tasks- Take note of upcoming events (banquets, cocktails, special menus).- Plan certain preparations with the team.- Follow the inventory schedule and check storage.- Respect and apply the weekly attendance plan.General responsibilities- Maintain product quality and respect internal standards.- Inform the Chef of any issues.- Respect the hierarchy and the rules of the establishment.- This list is not exhaustive and may vary according to the needs of the establishment.Profile- Experience in the hotel/restaurant industry.- Knowledge of HACCP standards.- Cooking techniques.- Stock and order management.- Skills related to the responsibilities.MISCELLANEOUSSubject to the duty of confidentiality, and this job description is fully part of the contractual obligations of the employee.
