We are recruiting a:
Nurse Night Supervisor Responsible for Care Unit (IRUS)
Would you like to put your nursing skills, organisational sense and leadership at the service of residents and a committed team? This position offers you the opportunity to play a key role in the quality of care and the smooth running of the unit.
Your profile
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Excellent organisational skills and good priority management in a multidisciplinary environment
- Analytical ability, initiative and synthesis skills
- Very good interpersonal skills, empathy and ease in communication
- Proven experience as an IRUS in geriatrics and psychogeriatrics
- Motivation to learn daily and to share skills and knowledge
- Knowledge of the Besa programme is desirable
- CAS in management or psychogeriatrics: an asset
Your duties
- Ensure coordination and supervision of care, guaranteeing quality and respect for the individual needs of residents
- Provide care and ensure the quality of services provided in the units
- Collaborate with relatives, supervise the team and seek support from management if necessary
- Supervise, organise and allocate tasks according to each person’s skills
- Motivate and support the team by fostering a positive working atmosphere
- Transmit institutional information to collaborators and ensure their good understanding
- Act as a link between the team, nursing managers and the Management
- Ensure follow-up of administrative tasks related to the role
