To complete our teams, we are looking for a:Journalist for the news desk (100%) - 2-month fixed-term contractYour mission:Your role within our editorial teams will consist of ensuring the monitoring of news in several forms and editing then publishing articles and various content intended for our digital platforms. You must be capable of prioritizing and ensuring impeccable quality of the published texts, regardless of the subject.Your tasks:- Ensure the monitoring of news by processing dispatches, maintaining our continuous feeds, or producing articles and other content under the supervision of a news editor and in coordination with the entire editorial staff;- Proofread and edit articles from different sections before publication, ensuring digital journalism standards, in particular their readability and search engine optimization (SEO);- Produce our daily newsletters;- According to needs, contribute to the maintenance of our digital platforms by publishing and placing our content while respecting the editorial hierarchy and collaborating with editors and section heads to optimize the flow of information and share good web editorial practices;- Enrich articles by adding photos, graphics, as well as embedded videos, either produced by third parties (YouTube, etc.) or by producing them yourself.- This position involves staggered hours and weekend work.Your profile:- Holder of a professional journalist certificate (RP) or equivalent desired;- 1 to 2 years of experience within an editorial office, more specifically in journalistic editing for the web;- Rigorous and dynamic, endowed with a solid general culture, good benchmarks in the field of current events, and excellent knowledge of Swiss news and institutions, you are proactive;- Native French speaker, you have impeccable spelling, excellent writing skills, an ability to conceive impactful headlines, and good knowledge of web editing rules;- Proficiency in German and English is a plus;- High sense of responsibility, interpersonal skills, and team spirit are qualities you possess.We offer you:- The opportunity to join a small, dynamic team and a workplace close to public transport in pleasant premises.Terms of employment:- Fixed-term contract (2 months): July 1st to August 31st- Activity rate: 100%We look forward to receiving your application by May 4th.
