Network-Telecom Technician (f/m/d) On behalf of our client based in Lausanne, we are looking for a Network-Telecom Technician (f/m/d) responsible for conducting inventory, site control, and documenting the updates of wired network equipment as part of a program X covering a large number of missions. - Conduct visits to all sites as per the schedule defined with the project manager and the involved parties - Carry out a comprehensive inventory of wired network equipment, racks, and patching elements, documenting their technical characteristics, and ensuring the labeling of equipment, ports, and cabling, proceed with re-labeling if necessary and report any inconsistencies or anomalies. - Visually verify the cabling, electrical conditions, and the environment of technical premises, then carry out measurements, take pictures, and draft plans, and update all collected data in the CMDB or the designated asset management tool, respecting the data model and quality requirements of the profile - Confirmed experience of 3 to 5 years in a network technician role, telecoms X IT, ideally in an intervention context - Mastery of wired network equipment, switches, patch panels, copper and fiber cabling, and patch panels. - Ability to identify, classify, and document equipment independently, with a good knowledge of management tools and CMDB such as iTop or equivalent. - Knowledge of labeling standards and structured cabling, such as TIA-568, EN or equivalent standards, as well as basic principles related to PDUs, uninterruptible power supplies, and circuits. - Proficient with technical measurement tools and drafting plans in PDF or DWG formats, with a strong attention to detail, method, and reliability of data. - Required driving license, availability for frequent travel to various Vaud sites and personal vehicle use for the job proposal.
