This is a full-time position between May and October, with many travels involved.Role:- Conduct an exhaustive inventory of network equipment (switches, routers, racks, patch panels, copper/fiber cabling, etc.).- Identify and classify the equipment (brand, model, firmware if accessible).- Check, correct, and standardize labeling according to the convention.- Visually check the cabling, electrical coherence, and patching.- Record and document any anomalies (obsolete equipment, unconnected cables, inconsistencies).- Take detailed photos of equipment and update and structure the collected data in the CMDB (iTop or equivalent).- Collaborate with the project manager for data tracking and quality review at the end of profiling.Experienced network/telecom technician, comfortable with fieldwork in multi-site interventions. Solid knowledge of wired infrastructures: switches, racks, patch panels, and copper/fiber cabling. Mastery of asset management tools (CMDB, iTop, etc.). Knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA-568, EN or equivalent). Rigor and attention to detail in data entry, validation, and cross-checking. Basic electrical knowledge (circuits, inverters, PDUs, dedicated outlets). Autonomy, method, and good organization in a mobile context.
