The Vaud Hospital Network (FHVi) is the privileged partner of more than 12 hospitals and regional healthcare establishments in the canton of Vaud. FHVi supports them in the numerous challenges of digital health and has the main missions of planning, designing, implementing, and operating the IT systems of its members. There are more than 110 serving a fleet of over workstations spread across about a hundred geographical sites and across three cantons (VD, VS, FR). Network Team Leader Within the Infrastructure department of FHVi, as the Network Team Leader, you will take managerial responsibility for a network team composed of 6 engineers and ensure the performance, availability, and security of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi networks of FHVi and its partner establishments, spread over about a hundred. You will manage evolution projects, ensure technical coherence of the scope, coordinate team activities, and contribute to defining standards and processes. Main Missions: Management & Leadership- Manage and support the 6 network team members.- Plan and prioritize activities, allocate tasks, monitor workload, and ensure deadlines are met.- Promote skill enhancement (coaching, knowledge sharing).- Organize and lead team meetings, establish and evolve internal procedures.- Foster a spirit of teamwork and quality service.Network Management- Oversee the processing of service requests: tickets, changes, network, security tools.- Supervise and validate the management of complex incidents (N3), both on the internal network and on partner establishments' networks.- Ensure the quality of monitoring, analyze performance metrics, and initiate corrective actions.- Ensure network availability and high availability of critical environments.Architecture, Evolution, and Security- Contribute to the design and evolution of LAN (wired and Wi-Fi), WAN infrastructures, or oversee the deployment of new network and security standards at remote sites.- Coordinate the continuous management of security: L4/L7 filtering, NAC, proxy, for major technical projects: onboarding new medical/technical solutions, mobility, IoT, critical infrastructures.- Work closely with security and systems teams, interacting with business leaders and partner establishments.- Provide regular reporting to management: risks, major incidents, project progress.- Manage collaboration with suppliers and technological partners.Required Technical Skills:- Engineer in networking or related field with confirmed experience (minimum 10 years).- Network/security, including an initial experience in technical supervision or management.- Knowledge in routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MSTP, VTP) on equipment.- Proficiency in firewall technologies (clusters, zoning, filtering).- Desired qualifications: CCNA or CCNP.- Appreciated knowledge: Cisco ISE (NAC), Cisco, Aruba (Wi-Fi), Fortinet, (Python, Ansible, API).- Knowledge of Microsoft, Linux environments, and open-source tools.Personal Attributes:- Leadership: Ability to bring together and enhance the skills of a team.- Service orientation, listening, pedagogy, and good methodology.- Reactivity, capability to manage priorities, and strict adherence to procedures.Languages: - French: very good oral and written proficiency - English: good level What We Offer You:- A stimulating opportunity to evolve in the healthcare sector, a field that is constantly evolving and meaningful.- The chance to actively contribute to ambitious projects related to ongoing digital initiatives.- A pleasant work environment, located in the green area of Cery in Prilly, within a human-sized structure where team spirit and proximity are valued.- Employment conditions in accordance with those in force at FHVi: 13th salary, 25 vacation days per year (30 days starting from age 50), access to continuous learning to support your professional development, the possibility of remote work (40% subject to conditions), subsidized parking on site, and easy accessibility by public transport.Looking for your next adventure?
